McLaughlin, J.K. “Ken” Lance Corporal Enlisted 1940 Hespeler RCAMC WW II J.K. McLaughlin was born in April 1918 in Toronto. He attended school in Puslinch Township and Hespeler Separate School and GCI. He was a member of Cadet Band at GCI; Son of John and Mary McLaughlin of Hespeler. He enlisted on June 22, 1940 with the Royal Canadian Army Medical Corps. Lance Corporal McLaughlin worked at Dominion Woollens & Worsted in Hespeler. He was also the brother of Alex and Bruce McLaughlin, both of whom also served.
